INVASIVE PLANTS BANNED IN OHIO - OH Department of Agriculture

The Ohio Department of Agriculture has the authority through the state legislature rule making process and the Ohio Administrative Code to regulate (1) invasive plant species from commercial sale and (2) prohibited noxious weeds. Lists of both types of plants are available at the ODA website. This website focuses primarily on plant species identified by the ODA as invasive. Many of these species have already been assessed as Invasive by the OIPC.
