INVASIVE PLANT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

OIPC is always adding to it's list of invasive, non-native plants that threaten the health and diversity of natural ecosystems in Ohio using an objective, science-based process. Our assessment process focuses mostly on terrestrial plant species.

NOTE: The OIPC Invasive Plant Assessment Protocol was completely revised in June 2020.

 See the following links for additional information:

*  Purpose and Background
*  Specific Steps in Assessment
*  Policies and Procedures
*  Summary of Results
*  Schedule of Plants to be Assessed

Please note that some non-native species in Ohio are already regulated as Noxious Weeds.
